Sharon Carroll

Sharon Carroll is thrilled to be in her fifth year teaching musical theatre at Tonies! She also loves teaching Kindermusik to young children and singing jazz and contemporary music with her band! Sharon is the Show Director for Arts Alive in Bay benefiting arts programs in Bay District Schools and the Take Stock in Children scholarship program. She graduated from Troy University where she received degrees in Theatre and English and spent much of her time in the music department and on the stage. Sharon treasures her time working professionally in musical theatre performing roles such as Maria in the Sound of Music, Kathie in the Student Prince and Luisa in the Fantastiks in regional and dinner theatres in the south early in her career. She loved her years as the Mosley Drama Director as well as teaching Voice for musical theatre at Gulf Coast State College. Sharon had her own children’s theatre program for five years and has directed at GCSC as well as Kaleidoscope Theatre. She has spent a great deal of time on stage in local theatres; Kaleidoscope, the Martin Theatre as well as GCSC. Her most important roles are that of wife to Robert and mom to TDW dancers, Mia (Spark) and Gigi!
